My favorite course is Historical Inquiry, mainly because it teaches us to analyze primary sources rather than just memorize dates. For example, we examine old letters and photographs to understand how ordinary people lived during wartime, which makes history feel alive and relatable. In addition, the weekly discussions encourage us to debate different interpretations, so we learn to question assumptions and build our own arguments. Although the readings are sometimes challenging, the professor provides excellent guidance that helps us decode complex texts step by step. Ultimately, this course has transformed my approach to learning, turning passive information receivers into active knowledge creators.
