Last autumn, I took part in the 400-meter relay race at our school sports meet, which was an experience I will never forget. First, we trained hard for two weeks to improve our speed, and then we stood on the starting line feeling both excited and nervous. During the race, I almost dropped the baton, but my teammates shouted loudly, which helped me stay calm and run as fast as I could. Although we did not win the first prize, I felt extremely proud because I learned the true meaning of teamwork and never giving up. In the end, this competition taught me that effort and friendship are more valuable than just winning a medal.
