In recent years, my city has launched a community-based garbage classification program to address the growing waste problem. Instead of throwing everything into one bag, residents now carefully separate trash into four types: recyclables, kitchen waste, hazardous items, and other garbage. As a result, this practical measure has significantly reduced the amount of landfill waste and helped clean our rivers and streets. Furthermore, many recycled materials are turned into new products, which proves that protecting nature can also support local economic development. Therefore, I believe that with continuous public participation, our city will surely become a cleaner and more sustainable place for future generations.
