In my opinion, middle school students should be given their own pocket money because it helps them learn how to manage finances responsibly. First, having a regular allowance allows teenagers to practice budgeting for daily expenses like books and transportation. In addition, making small financial decisions independently teaches them the value of saving and avoiding unnecessary purchases. However, parents should also guide their children to ensure they understand the importance of saving rather than spending everything at once. Overall, pocket money is a useful educational tool that prepares young people for future financial independence.
